Creating
a spool file:
Spool files can be very helpful for identifying
issues that are related to printout. Those files can provide Preton tech
team with relevant information on the APIs used in the print process and
can help provide a fix for some of the issues.
Generating a spool file:
1. Go to printer and faxes and select the relevant
printer.
2. In the window left menu select "Pause printing"

3.
Use the application that generated the printout issue and print to the
paused printer.
4.
You should be able to see the spool file in the spooler

5.
Copy the file from C:\windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS
6.
