Issue:
Printing with PretonSaver takes longer then without PretonSaver.
Solution:
PretonSaver process every document and it does take processing time. However it should be measured in milliseconds for normal text documents.
This issue usually has to do with the actual printer and driver settings.
In most drivers the allowed memory usage can be adjusted. Adjusting it can improve print speed significantly.
To adjust driver memory:
1. On the relevant PC go to Printers and Faxes
2. Right click on the relevant printer
3. Select Properties
4. Select device settings
5. Increase Printer Memory to 32 or 64 and click OK.
In some printers the memory adjustment is done via printing preferences, if you do not have a device settings in the printer properties:
3. Select printing preferences
4. in the finishing Tab select Print Quality details
5. in the graphic settings select "Use More Memory"
